GIF Demo

Here's an example of a GIF file when it is exported and uploaded properly. I've included a few glitched images as well. We will go over all settings and upload procedures on Thursday, but try to go through the Adobe tutorial (linked in the assignment PDF) to figure it out. The mistake I was making in class was in selecting the correct timeline option. Open your timeline (found in "Window" menu). Of the two options provided ("video timeline" and "frame animation") select "frame animation" and then click on the actual frame animation textbox. You should see one or all of your image layers populate in the timeline as slides. To get them all in properly, click the timeline menu (little horizontal dashes at the upper right of the timeline window) and select "make frames from layers." All layers should appear in the timeline, but if they do not, select them all at once and do it again. Click on each individual slide menu and set each duration to "no delay," then set the loop to "forever." Press the play button to watch a preview of the GIF. I will go over exporting on Thursday.

I'm looking forward to reading your posts on glitch and digital literacy!
